The Kansas City Pioneers Leather Levi Club was founded in 1975 as a social club for gay men. We are the longest active gay club in Kansas City.
Early events included Leather Runs, campouts and group motorcycle trips. The KC Pioneers responded to the AIDS crisis in the 80’s by focusing on fundraising to help our brothers and friends. In the last year, we have added a new educational program to reach out to new people entering the Leather /BDSM community.
Through the years, the club has contributed to the local gay community by raising funds for local charities that support LGBTQ youth, HIV services, and anti-violence groups in the gay community. We have also worked with the bear community, MGRA rodeo, and Pride. We are a member of Mid-America Council of Clubs.
The Kansas City Pioneers are focused on the needs and desires of gay men interested in the Leather/BDSM world. Events and memberships are open to all.

KC Pioneers is a proud member of the Mid-America Conference of Clubs, an organization devoted to the promotion and coordination of the leather clubs in the central part of the U.S.
